Top-Tier Trail Stop – Don’t Miss Twisted Spoke Cafe! Our group ride rolled into Ohiopyle and made a stop at Twisted Spoke Cafe — and it did not disappoint. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top notch. The staff was incredibly welcoming and handled our group with ease, making sure everyone got their orders quickly so we could relax and recharge. You have to try the BBQ chicken sandwich — it was absolutely phenomenal. Pair it with one of their seasonal drinks or local craft beers, and you’ve got the perfect post-ride combo. After putting in the miles, kicking back at the Twisted Spoke was exactly what we needed. This place is a gem for cyclists, hikers, and anyone passing through Ohiopyle. Great vibe, great people, and even better food. We’ll definitely be back!

Definitely a great place to check out. Today was Father's Day so it was very busy but worth the wait. Everyone was very nice. We will definitely go back.

My wife and I took our dog to Ohio Pyle and stopped here for a couple beers before we left. Outside area had picnic tables and a nice fire going. Bartender and other patrons were very social and friendly. Will definitely stop back. Ralph, our boxer, approved!

We enjoyed everything about our time at the Twisted Spoke. Yummy vegetarian options, terrific music, clean(!), doggie water bowl for every pooch, welcoming staff, cool deck. Those reviewers who complained had unreasonable expectations. My black bean burger was tasty (homemade!) With crispy lettuce, tomato, onions and condiments. Yummy fresh cut fries. LOTS of food. My husband had the Mediterranean bowl with perfectly grilled shrimp & veggies on quinoa. I just wish they had merch more accessible, but we will be back to find our t-shirt someday.

Really good food! The atmosphere was great on a cool day. There's an upstairs and downstairs, both that have open bar options. I thought the food was reasonably priced.

Great Reuben sandwich which the staff highly recommended and said it was their most popular sandwich. I also had the fresh cut fries with malt vinegar, both were very good. The restaurant is great, location fantastic as we hiked all morning ate lunch and then went for a bike ride. Perfect day and a perfect restaurant, you have to sit outside and enjoy the distant sound of the nearby rushing water.
